Hey Guys!!

My wife and I, being newlyweds, were looking for a fun project that we could work on, fight over and ultimately enjoy together, I think we found one!!!

We've spent the past few days looking at some of your tears as well as some other plans and we've finally decided on a design. Now it's just time to gather all the parts together and get started.

Looking forward to sharing this experience with all you guys and learning some stuff on the way!

BTW the deign we picked out is a variation of the weekender, so technically not a teardrop, but just as unique! 8)

Thanks Cliff! I'm closer to the mountains end of the state, but my parents live on the coast, so hopefully they wont be blown away!

Welcome from Asheville, NC!

Hey Dennis,

Welcome from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC. I am building a modified Weekender with a sliding bunk-bed, designed to hold a family of five! Been working on it a couple of years, making progress. We have several folks in NC and there are TD gatherings throughout the area.

Geat people here on the list, too. They will give you a lot of support, answer your questions, cheer ya' when you pass a milestone in your build, and give a lot of advice. I enjoy being a the compute so much talking to these folks, that I sometimes forget to go downstairs and actually hammer any nails or build anything!

Any, Welcome, congrats on the marriage. A happy marriage is a special blessing.
