Where to find rubber lining/sealer for doors, etc.

Postby misterW » Wed Sep 08, 2010 8:58 am

I'm looking for a rubber strip to put in between the edge of my door and the doorstop. I'll probably want similar strips for other places, like the hatch.

Where can I find rubber strips like this? Does the product have a particular name?

Thanks in advance......

Depends on what you are looking for. The big box stores have weatherstripping but the options are limited. I used McMaster Carr for my weatherstripping/seals. They have an extensive collection of every seal you could ever want. I got my door seals and my hatch seals from them. They also have great customer service and take returns with no questions asked.

Just search for weatherstripping or rubber seals.

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

We started our collection at Home Depot and expanded to the local RV dealer's parts department. They have weather stripping and rubber boot material by the foot.
