Gregg & Cheri..... you'll have a blast! First off bring good walking shoes , it's a big park and lots of us! Or even a bicycle is a good idea.
It could get as cold as mid 30s at night , or pretty warm in the daytime ... no telling.
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

You LCG virgins just bring some good boots for the snipe hunt.

And, don't forget you have to buy beer for the rest of us. It's tradition.

Sarah and I have really been talking about coming out for the big bash quite a bit.

Lester (DeepVee) had to change his plans last-minute and won't be able to make it to the LCG-V but instead offerred his site to us and we'll definitely be there thanks to him and his generosity!

:applause:

Thanks once again, Lester and we hope to see y'all next year!

I wouldn't want to officially comment, but we <do not>, officially have anything to do with such an organization if it exists...

...that we remember! <cough-cough> :pipe:

You've forgotten--we changed it to Scotch. The newbies have to bring us Balvenie Doublewood Scotch!

Or better yet, bring me the above named scotch and I'll cut your snipe quota in half!

(It's worth a try.)
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Bring warm shoes and a good coat just in case. I was freezing and had to go out and buy some shoes in podunk USA and found my most favorite camping shoes that I wear all the time now. What a save, worth every penny.

I also only had a totally out of place leather Donnie Brasco, Brooklyn NY Saturday Night fever Jacket with me that I felt totally dumb in, but at least it kept me warm. Hey it was my SECOND camping event and the longest time I had ever camped so I was still getting it together.

You don't expect it to be cold and then completely warm in the day time so bring ALL your options! Now I keep the teardrop stocked fully so all I need to bring is the food and beer! Oh and ice ice ice!

Hehe yeah you remember well! Those were Vans and definitely did NOT cut the mustard! My feet were killing me too besides being frozen. That was a shoe emergency that day! haha

Now - remember folks - that last year we were to the north a bit, due to conditions beyond our control - but now were back south - might be a bit warmer
