Image hosting

Postby asianflava » Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:05 am

With Teardrops.us going offline, where is a good place to host pics. My requirements are the ability to link to forums with no restrictions on bandwidth. I see so many posts on forums where the poster used Photobucket to host a pic. It just shows a bad link saying that they have exceed Photobucket's bandwidth. That really annoys me.

Anybody have any recomendations?

If you have a facebook account, thats as easy as anything. when you upload, it automatically resizes your pictures to a size that is perfect for viewing on forums.

Rocky, I use photobucket and have not had a bandwidth problem...you would havvta do a lotta usage to use up your free bandwidth...I am not sure what the "pro" version costs but that is an option if you need more bandwidth or space..I like their ease of use for uploading and copying to a forum board.....

I agree.
Bear in mind that it's real easy to "borrow" pictures from photobucket. Other sites make it harder but not totally impossible to "borrow" from. I think flikr.com is one of them.
