Over a year and a half ago I started this crazy idea that I wanted a thing called a tear drop to camp in. Well the day had finally come true. My son-in-law and I made the maiden "lets see how she tows" this afternoon. I must say a lot of things come to mind when this happens. Did I align the axle right, did I tighten the lug nuts, are my welds going to hold up. Why did I start this in the first place? It really did take longer and cost more money than I expected. Yes, I did over build I think in some areas. However I'm not disappointed with the way it turned out. If any one is thinking about starting one, jump in. I started using the "you can't build a bad tear drop" mentality and things usually work out. There is a lot of information just for the digging here on the forum. It really helped out. Anyway here is a picture of her. I still need to clean and polish but it's just about done. So from a guy who started here just wanted to show you how it worked for me.
Thanks for the help. Tom
