Getting paid to drive your car?

Has anybody on this forum ever participated in something like this? If so could you recommend any reputable companies.

For those that don't know what I am talking about. You can sign up to have your car shrink wrapped in an advertisment. You get paid up to $600 a month if you drive your car in a desirable area, or your commute route exposes your car to a lot of people.

I'm just curious about the program and wondering if anyone had any experience in this area.

I read about that a while ago. Its not as simple as signing up, getting your car wrapped, and making $600.

You have to go through a bunch of applications and paperwork, divulging where and when you drive, how much you drive per year on average, etc. After all that, you're put on a list, and then your particular profile must be chosen by the advertiser based on the info you provided to them. If they pick your profile, they decide how much advertising covers your vehicle, and how much you make based on all the variables - location, ad size, miles driven, etc.

I had a friend who went through all of that, got her VW bug wrapped and drove it for a couple of months.

She never got paid.

They usually also put a GPS tracking devise in your car, and download your exact movements before deciding what/if they will pay you. I do know a guy who's kid drives a billboard truck through rush hour traffic. I think he makes over $10/hour, and picks up some extra cash after school.
