Hi all

This is the place where you can introduce yourself, and include a photo if so desired.

Hi all

I'm undertaking a project that is so far beyond my skill set that I am endless excited to learn. I first posted in the "non-traditional build" thread with this, but here is where I'll show my enthusiasm.

I am taking a flat-tow rolling chassis VW jetta and doing an entire chassis conversion to a camper. The possibilities are limitless and the space is everywhere. Structure is greater than most teardrops and weight is not an issue for the car towing it.

Something like this:

Hey and welcome to the Forum. I know we crossed swords in you other thread but I do wish you all the success with your idea. Have fun with it and ask plenty of questions. And remember, if it doesn't work out you can always build a teardrop ;)

Cheers
Paul

Thanks Paul. The cool thing about water under the bridge is that it always goes away.

I'm really dedicated to seeing this through and I think it will work out well. I plan to include you all in the build (still waiting for the chassis delivery to know what I'm starting with) but know there is a convergence here: I love compact camping and I am big in the water-cooled VW show car scene.

The function is the priority, but it has to have a VW look that is unsurpassed...
