ok probably drug induced question:
What did you do for a first date.

We had a picnic down by the creek, sandwiches drinks and two coloring books and a box of crayons. to see how well she shared.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. Besides for me it was to long ago to really remember. Thinking of a question like this is a kid thing and I just can't relate.

By the way Forrest, how's your teardrop coming. Must be about done with all the extra time you have to come up with these strange (that's short for) questions.

sad to report not much. i wish i could be one of those guys that gets 'hurt' and spends all thier time recovering on the golf course. getting my other knee done tomorrow. i am hoping that this will allow me to walk and then do some trailer recovery plan. we had to move her around in the garage so the wheel chair ramp would fit. give you updates on both body and trailer build.

Boy, that's a bummer. No wonder you have some extra time on your hands. ;)

...our first date was a kite flying contest that my radio station sponsored. I can tell you the outfit she was wearing, too.

I can't remember my kids name, but I remember what she was wearing 37 years ago.

Good luck tomorrow!!

Well, I consider my first REAL date to be the first one that did not require someone's parent to drive us to and from the date.

I remember who it was, and that we went to a movie, then cruised "the drag" for a while, met some friends at Sonic, and ended up at the Neches river just in time for the submarine races.

Dated that girl for a while. We both loved movies -- and submarine racing.

First date with my wife was Nov. 25, 1973. We double dated with my best friend/best man. Went to the Cleveland/Pittsburgh football game at Municipal Stadium. She is a Stillers fan, and I like the Browns. Had a good time......Been married 35 years.

My Best man and his wife have been married for 35 years also.....hmmmm, football?????

Our first date was September 5, 1979.

We took a picnic lunch to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We grilled steaks, and shared a bottle of wine (I burnt the stakes) ;) You would have too, trust me.

I will try to dig up some pictures from back then. Beth was 25 years old...a cute little blue eyed blonde...oh, and I had hair back then too, and only weighed 135 pounds...she still only weighs 120 pounds...I don't...

Well, I'm sure that's more than you really wanted to know.
