Hello from Fl.

Hi everyone, great site you have here. I've been reading a lot on this site for the last few days and have seen some great setups. I'm interested in building a camper from a cargo trailer(which I don't own yet but will within the next year). I thought about building a Teardrop but I'm to large for that. 6'4 260. I need to be able to stand to function, not young anymore. I have a small woodworking and metalworking shop at home and I love to build things so this will be fun. The ingenuity and craftsmanship ya'll have shown is incredible. Looking forward to asking question and learning. George

Hi George! Welcome to the club! :) You will find there is a wealth of building knowledge along with wonderful people who are always willing to help.

We are having a gathering in February at Silver River State Park in Ocala if you would like to join us, even if it's just for the day and pot luck dinner, we would love to have you.

There will be other Teardrops and home builts there so if you care to join us, look under the heading "Suggest a Gathering" for the "Women in Tears-Sweetheart Gathering".

Thanks Cajun Lady for the welcome and invitation to the gathering. Maybe I can make it. We'll see.
