Hi folks ... this is great site. I wanted to build a tear drop, but I can't convince my clostrophobic (sp?) wife yet. Since I don't want her flipping out on me, I am considering a cargo conversion. Looks like a great site to learn how. Steve

The traditional TD's with the rounded profiles don't seem nearly as tight as they appear in a photo or even a video.....rounded cieling does not appear so close, windows right at your head (in the door) for good ventilation

Try to get to a gathering, get her to actually laydown in one, will probably feel bigger/better than she can immagin. If no gatherings maybe there is a dealer realatively close by, or maybe a member of this forum, ya need to see one up close to make an informed decision.

Find a gathering close by, and take your wife down for a look-see. It might help her change her mind. If it doesn't, you won't have started something she doesn't want you to finish.

I thought that ur 4x4x10 camper was going to be realy tight. How I was wrong. i can sit on a 5 gal. bucket and almost sit up. All I have to do is bent my neck some, I am 6'1. My wife who is 5'4 can be on he back an dcan not touch the roof with her foot. The inside of our camper is about 6' long from the front of the camper to the front of the rear cabnets. I do agree that you should check out a event.
