n00b from Alaska

Greetings everyone.

I'm a Chief in the U.S. Coast Guard. We've got a new 2010 Wrangler Unlimited 4-door and are looking at options for different trailers that can be used as both cargo trailers and a hard-sided "tent". Since we transfer so often, I'd like to be able to haul stuff with us and the Jeep will tow up to 3500#.

Looking forward to learning more!

Welcome to the group. Having a dual purpose cargo conversion should be fairly easy to do and I will be interested in seeing what you come up with, you will hear the mantra "take lots of pictures". You might want to look into the Wells Cargo silver sport all aluminum for weigh saving.

or http://www.aluminumtrailer.com which boasts they will custom make... note the USCG service trailer they make.
