You can run, but you can't hide from Ranger Sweetpea :?

Speaking of officers you don't want to see in bikinis . . .

Wait-- that is another thread.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Eddie and I and the little pounder decided to take one for the team and forced ourselves to go camping this weekend at Lake Bistineau. We are pleased to report that everything is on the up and up. The are no flames or smoke to be seen, nor any flood waters, or crazy rangers aka sweet pea. Unfortunately the weather is perfect for camping and we have been asked to be guests at the national 2010 Dutch oven gathering tomorrow for lunch. The things we have to suffer through to make sure the park is ok for our fellow teardroppers. So unless one of the Dutch oven cookers gets a little crazy with their coals the park is good to go for LCGV. See you all in a few weeks.

Well, you took one for the team. You shall be rewarded by and by :applause: .

...there is a ban at present...briquettes in a pit is all that is allowed...BUT, all it will take is one good rain and we can burn, baby burn...by the way, Ranger David sez we should bring our own firewood since park provided wood will probably be scarce...I will certainly keep a close eye on this situation since a campout without a campfire is like cocktail without a...tail........................
