How store the darn, wonderful things?

Hang them, they become a mess, throw into a box, they become a mess.
How do you store them for easy access and keep them separated?

Seriously though...I bought mine in a plastic container. They aren't large
ones but several different sizes. I just keep them in the container in my
tongue box.

I've got one of those grocery store, reusable cloth bags stuffed full of 'em and kept in the front box...whenever I need one, I dump 'em out, pick what I need and stuff the rest back into the bag...maybe not the best but it works OK for me..............

I hate those things, I use ratchet straps in most cases. Either way, I'd store them the same way.... in a big tangled pile.

I store mine inside my charcoal chimney in the tongue box.

What you reuse them! I always cut them when I need to get into the box I use them on. Now that's new!

I haven't done it , but remember seeing that you could take a scrap peice of pvc pipe, at least 3" wide and hook the cord on one end of the pipe, stretch to hook the other to the other end. The cords will then be taut and not tangle. Really long ones can hook on the end and go thru the inside of the pipe to the bottom then wrap and back up.

I would guess you would cut the pipe to at least a 12" length... don't know.

Since I learned a few knots on the farm at an early age, I just use rope. It has no hooks on the ends to make that tangled mess that bungees are famous for and ropes hold much better when properly secured. I also sometimes use chains and binders but rope usually works just fine.

I only use bungees for jobs that could probably be done as well with gravity.

I store mine all about the garage for easy access whenever I may need one.

Let's see, there should be one stashed in a box over there, one or two on the floor in the other corner, and a few hanging from hooks on the wall.....now where the heck is that darn thing? Oh, and of course they have them at the local hardware store for when I can't find mine.

We have a scrap of plywood in a trapezoid shape (imagine a triangle with the top point cut off). Both long sides have notches all the way down. Different sized bungees get wrapped around different parts of the wood and hooked in the notch according to where they fit. Hole drilled in the top for a handle (which I use to hang it from the floor joists in the cellar half the time). Can't be a foot-and-a-half tall and about a foot wide ... works nice.
