Bulldog jacks: beware

Postby nikwax » Mon Oct 04, 2010 11:31 am

As I mentioned in another thread, I bought a Bulldog jack which started rusting right away. Wrote to Bulldog about it, they basically said "tough luck buddy." This on a $100 product. Apparently their products are for indoor use only.

I say the heck with them. I'll stick with my rusty $19 Harbor Freight jack. And if any of you want to buy a lightly used Bulldog jack, drop me a line.

Where is it rusting, and why?

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

The painted parts are rusting from underneath.

Why? I assume because it was defectively manufactured. Which happens, I just don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't consider that to be a problem.
