My windows came from a local place that makes camper tops for pickup trucks. I stopped by there one day to see what they had and was lucky enough to find a few windows that they used to use in the alum. camper tops they made. They now make fiberglass tops only. They sold the "outdated to them" windows for $15 each. I should have bought all they had. Anyhow you may look around for a local topper manufacturer. I thought it was odd there was one around here then I found out that there is 3 within about 50 miles.

Thanks,
Mark

Same for me, although it was about 100miles away, not that local. This place still makes their aluminum tops so I paid $30ea for the windows.

I was thinking that I should have bought a couple pairs too. If I build another one, it will save me a trip. If I never build another one, someone else who needs them would probasbly take them off my hands.

Not sure where you're at in western PA but if you are anywhere near a Trader Horn check them out. I know they cary a variety of mobile home stuff and I have seen crank out windows there on occasion.

Some days all you can do is smile and wait for some kind soul to come along and pull your ass out the bind you've gotten yourself into.

What about windows from a chrysler minivan? Would they work or are they too curved?
