Teardrop owner in FL?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Tuber,
My teardrop isn't finished yet, but I'd be happy to show it to you. However, I live over in Lakeland. I don't know how far you're willing to travel to see a half-built (maybe 3/4 built) trailer. And it is at the shop I work at, so Mon-Fri mostly works fine.
Just PM me if you're interested.

Brian,

If your Teardrop will be finished in February, you should try and join our gathering at Silver River State Park. It's nothing formal, just a bunch of us camping together the weekend of Feb. 4-6. If you are interested look for the thread called "Women in Tears (Teardrops)-Sweetheart Gathering" . Everyone is welcome to come.

Thank you Becca. I put that one on my calendar but I have a show that weekend. I may try to send the wife, I think she would enjoy it since I'll be working all weekend anyway.

Thanks,
Brian

The new elevation causes some flooding to the house there now. Still a wonderful town though.

That's a shame :( I remember a hurricane when my parents lived there. Thier house was one of the few in town not flooded.

Yow have never heard of Yankeetown  It's famous! Elvis filmed parts of Blue Hawaii (???) there. There is even a plaque where the road ends up at the gulf.

I'd never heard of Yankeetown either but there are so many small towns I've never heard of. But I've camped all around Yankeetown - Manatee Springs SP, Cedar Key, Withlacoochee State Park, Rainbow Springs.

I like the little coastal towns like Cedar Key.

The Elvis movie was "Follow that Dream" Made in 61. Every year we get a Elvis fan club tour through town showing all the 'famous' spots.

I live just outside Worthington Springs and would gladly share if you wanted to stop by. I have a weekender not a tear but it would still give you an idea. Like Becca mentioned, stop at the gathering in February and see a few different designs.

I live in Summerfield and have a Little Guy if you would like to drive over to see it. Not too far from you and a nice drive. Also have a dealer down the road from me that has two of them for sale. He's had them for awhile and bet he would love to get ride of them by now.
