Northern has two trailers at 5x8 they have a Carry On trailer at the stores and not mail order that is $400 if you are near one of their stores.

Thanks for info, unfortunetly I'm not very close to store, I do seem to like the $500 one, I guess it couldnt hurt to have a good foundation so to speak.

the good news it that every now and again they put that one on sale with no shipping and no tax if they don't have a store in your state. Compare that to the cost of gas and tax if you go on the hunt for one.

bbriggs1961,
The Northern Tool trailer is currently on sale for $509 with free shipping.
The trailer has worked fine for me for a couple years now. It is
very similiar to the harbor freight trailer but 5x8 and black.
Good luck

My buddy Bill's van bit the dust and he has decided, after helping me build my td, to now build one for himself. Prior the van met all his camping needs. He's got a Ford Escape now. He just ordered the NT that's mentioned here for his td build.

I think he'll be happy with it and he'll be making saw dust soon enough!!!!!!! Go Bill.

FYI:
My buddy Bill's NT 5 x 8 trailer arrived. They unloaded it for him, boxes in great shape, easy to follow instructions, no trouble with putting it togehter.

Now he's ready to make some sawdust!
