Barbara Billingsley, the "ideal fifties mother" of Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver has passed away at the age of 94.

She could cook, clean, and do the laundry yet still always look perfect.

It is so funny when I think back to the shows of my childhood in the sixties, where married couples with children were shown on TV sleeping in separate twin beds. They had to protect kids like me from seeing two people in one bed -- even though in my own house, my own parents only had one bed in their bedroom.
