That mirror is great, you do not need more than that, but the fold awy idea is great.

Have to say I do like your interior, the finish is perfect.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Thanks! I love the style of the mirror, it's really for the girls who I think will make them feel glamourous, since I bought this at the Greer Garson estate sale, a popular actress from the 1940's (another fitting date for the teardrop). I will probably use it too just so I don't scare anyone with Medusa hair in the morning!

Thank you for the compliment on the interior, I think it has come out very homey and comfortable. I used to build clubhouses when I was a kid and I think this is the ultimate Clubhouse!

Oh WOW, Thomas! That's way too kewl. I thought the mirror was very nice, but that adds so much more to the story,,, for those of us familiar with Greer Garson.

The new galley work looks super! I may steal your idea of the beveled edges on the doors and that narrow slide-out if ya don't mind.

OK not really an update but Dangit I am wanting to go camping! I got out to the garage and organized all my camping gear and washed all the clothes and sheets in the teardrop and got it all squared away. Then I made a "shortlist" of the stuff I want to do before camping season hits and before you know it I had 8 things! I better get busy, I got 5 weeks! I hope it cools off a little by then I'm already paid for!

Thomas - You aren't the only one.

I wish my list was short. My "campable" list seems to be getting longer. It will be a challenge to get campable in time for the Loyd Park outing.

I guess our tent is a last resort, but it has to cool down to at least 80 degrees at night for us to sleep. Even if we don't camp, we'll be out for the day and evening.

Take care,
Tom

OK Cliff that's twice that you've rubbed it in!

Tom, I hear ya man, when I was getting to my camp time, I made a new list for "Just" the stuff I needed to camp and it was longer than my original build list! Alot of it was writing down things to stock it up with though, but there are alot of little details! At least LCG is only a month after Loyd park so if the Silver Beetle is not ready by then, you won't have too long to wait until the next big gathering and 4 weeks is a pretty good amount of extra time to get some more work done.

Oh, my tags are out as of July so I was playing online at custom plates and lettering and cam up with this one, I thought was pretty cool. Since this wasn't just the letters, but the plate was custom too, this one would cost me $200/ year. that standard plate I have now, looks alot better hehe but at least I got to save the design!

I redid the profile trim today, The old trim that goes around the edge was done just a few days before LCG last year and wasn't cut really straight and also seen some battle damage since.

I think it looks good even just being shelf liner  It goes all the way around the profile now and is the same color as the stripes on the side. I really wanted to get this done and I am glad I did it.

Thomas,

The border and stripes look really good. Looks like you're ready for LCG V.
