LCGV Jack O' Lantern carving contest...the Preacherman wins

Postby madjack » Sat Sep 11, 2010 5:57 pm

...in the past, we have had a Halloween decorating contest which the ACCLAIMED master of camping site decorating, Linda Smelly has absolutely dominated with her absolutely killer decorations...we bow to her genius...SOOOOOOOO, to level the playing field a bit AND to get more participants, we will have a Jack O' Lantern carving contest this year...here are the rules(gotta have rules...doanchano)

1) punkin' must be carved on site...no store bought, professionally done carvings allowed...templates, dremels or what have you are allowed as long as it is done on site........
2) the number of punkin' you carve and any associated decorations you wish to add, must all be able to fit is a 6gallon grocery store milk box...ya know, the ones most grocery stores put out, which their milk come in...one punkin' multiple punkin's and any decortions which would be associated with them must all fit in this box......
3) any questions about this...just ask me, I'll come up with an answer........

...participation in past decorating contests has been somewhat limited and I hope this will give us many more participants. Sooooo, dig out your creativity and give it a whirl or a carve as it may be and join in the fun..............

I wonder if a bottle of tequila will help reduce any demerits.

Looks like a pumpkin with eyes, a nose and a mouth -- with a bottle of tequila is a winner. I can do that.

Do we have a time and location for the Jack O' Lantern judging? I wouldn't want anyone to miss out because they weren't finished. :x :)
