Don , the problem I have with this guy is he's a musician ( probably the best guitar player in the city ) and his schedule is 180 deg. off from mine ... He sleeps all day , plays all night ...(opposite from me ) just can't seem to get together .. It's gonna' happen , just not soon enough for me ...

Sorry , old people (like me) tend to be a bit impatient , our time being finite, we want it NOW !!!!

Anticipating a quick conversion , cleaning, painting , customizing on a mini scale ... Shouldn't take more than a couple days ... once I get it ... ;)

Congratulations!

Looking forward to the pictures of your conversion. I have a small 4'x8' that I am considering for something similar to what you are planning.

Kinda, but nothing concrete.

I really would like it to be multi-purpose. I own a small land surveying firm, and I work on alot of small construction sites. I would like to have a place for my laptop, and be able to roll out a set of blueprints.

I would also like to be able to haul my atv in it as well for when I have a road trip.

It would be nice to have a removable bed to make it multi-purpose. My dad has a few army cots that I am going to see about borrowing and trying them out. I have seen a very simple "box" that was built on the Harbor Freight frame that could be built in a few hours. Thinking keep it simple and as inexpensive as possible.

Frustrated !!! The trailer owner keeps stalling me with "next week" , then that week passes by and No trailer .... grrrrrrrrr!!!! Worse, the nice weather has been replaced by cold and windy ... Not ideal for trailer work ... There goes that plan ...

Oh well, at least I've gathered All my materials and gear ... got that ready for Whenever I do manage to get the trailer .. If and when ...
:?

Trying to be patient , but ....

GPW,

I feel your pain... oops that one has already been used, damn! :x

Be that as it may, I hope it works out soon for you as I look forward to implementation of your plans. You have planning skills I seriously lack, and I mean that sincerely, as anyone should be able to tell via my lack of planning and subsequent redo in my thread.

Don , me being an old guy , it would only appear that I'm organized, but actually it just means I spent many years , doing things , and then re-doing them due to a lack of planning ... Just now (retired) I have a little time to put more thought into projects ... giving the mere appearance of organization ... :o

UPDATE: Now the fellow tells me Thursday for the trailer ... This is like trying to chase around Keith Richards to buy a guitar ... Rock Stars , musicians .... grrrrr!!!

Hold on !!! I ARE one too :o ... and I showed the band a pic of the trailer , and they said , "Good , something to carry the equipment "... AARGH !!! Thinking , if /when I get this trailer , it's going to be used a LOT more than my Jayco ... which , while I'm waiting for the CT , have been secretly converting the Jayco over to all electric , and saving a good deal of weight in the process ... so more of my stuff can be carried ... My stock payload weight is only 800 lbs.. Including the wife and I , the dumb dog and the cat ... which is half of that ... doesn't leave much room for stuff that you'd really like to bring ...

GPW,

I am looking at retirement next spring, which, hopefully will provide me a bit more time to work on the CT.

So tell me more about your Jayco conversion to electric. PM me if you think such a conversation isn't appropriate to your thread (I don't want to hijack your thread).

>>This is like trying to chase around Keith Richards to buy a guitar.<<

Or get some dope from him...stingy ass that he likely is. :R
