TOP TEN REASONS TO LIKE HALLOWEEN

10. It breaks the boredom brought on by shorter, colder days.

9. People decorate their yards with large inflatables so you don't have to see their plain-looking houses.

8. It keeps stores from playing Xmas music as early as October.

7. You don't have to rake the leaves in the front yard. They add to the affect.

6. Employees at stores and banks often look better hidden behind a costume.

5. Horror movies in theaters.

4. Goodwill stores goes nuts.

3. Kids love it.

2. You can dress up and anonymously get free candy from your otherwise stingy neighbors.

And the #1 reason to like Halloween:

1. Pumpkin carving!
