I thought this might be an appropriate look for a tear wheel in a fender...any thoughts? Thanks, The General

ahhh General, it sure do look purty but doan ya think it might work for more'n something to stub your toe on, if you actually mounted it on a trailer...of course you have been hanging out with Dean and may think that is how you do wheels and fenders... :D  ;)

Thanks Steven, Major Dean was indicating that I might need at least 500# of frame and axle to handle this wheel tire/ fender combo.. I've only built a frame that so far weighs 120#...maybe I should hang some rail road iron on it for weight. It seems that 472# is the magic number! PS do you think if I cut down a Hendrickson rear end that might work? What do you think Madjack? The General

...with all that hot air floating around the mountains 120# might not be enough to keep it on the ground...500#s(I like even numbers) might be better...about that Hendrickson, can you get 2...put one under the tow vehicle and one under the tear...connect witha aux drive/air control box and you would be ready for most anything :D

So it appears that a tag axle situation might just be the answer...I'll work on that one...wouldn't want to upset CalDot on bridge restrictions....The General ...and AK teardrop....details are going to be few and hard to find....but they will be here...the frame is done, I just haven't posted any photos

Either the old style TorqeThrust, or the polished TT II's looks great on any ride. Very sharp combo!!

Hey General,
Make 'em wait a while before you post any pics, especially if they contain something that's outta the box of thought...
Or just grow thick skin and you'll be fine.
BTW- Your wheels look great... :awesome:
