Just made it to the shop and unhitched the trailer. Madjack is still there for another day to hold down the fort and pick up busted water balloons.

Too bad the weather was so horrible (I'm lying!) and a big thanks to all the kind folk who kept me fed!

This gathering will be hard to beat, so everyone will have to make make an extra effort next year.

(Bt the way, it is rumored that whoever books site 36 for next year will also win the lottery, so everyone should give it a try!)

Scorched earth Caseydog, scorched earth. . .

It was great seeing everyone, and I hope all who couldn't attend are able to make it next year. This event really exemplifies what this forum is all about--camping in a beautiful setting with the coolest trailers in the world with the "bestest" people in the world.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Wow you said it Tony... Can we have had better weather? Cold at night, perfect for a fire and snuggling, and warm in the afternoon for wandering around.
I'll snuggle next time LOL...

I said "have had" and I like it...

We shall have had not better weather. The only precip was the heavy dew this morning. The "cold" we had wasn't even a shadow of the cold we have had in the past!

I forgot to mention, when I was packing up, I found a cooked seven pound roast. Does that belong to any one?

My only sadness I feel in a gathering of this size is that I always miss connecting with someone in the "real" world that I have already got to know from the internet world, and when I get home I think... DANG that's who that was I was talking to, I already know them! It's getting better but with it only happening once a year what can I do...

Those were some really nice pictures and not just of the trailers. The people shots were awesome because they showed everyone having a great time. Gee I may have to drive from Florida next year so I can be included in the fun.

Thanks MJ for getting this together

and I see by theweather yesterday the rain moved it

Hope they got some good rain there

but thewweek end weather couldn't have been better

what a great week end
there are many storms in life that come our way
the trick is learning to "dance in the rain."

May the apple of your eye see only good
May God make smooth the path before you.

Dang, it is all a blur, but yes, I see that the map says "Unknown" but if the layout is right (Which is suspect) it is a teardropper. I know I talked to him too (I apologize in advance) This is the spot across from me and to the left of Sonnetpro's:

I talked to him quite a bit over the weekend but can't remember his name...... but Maddox rings a bell. I think that was his last name. He had a denim train conductors hat. Him and his brother came from southern Illinois and STOLE my "Furthest Traveled" trophy by 55 miles!!!!!!!

They were good cats!! I think they'll be back at some other gatherings in the future.
