Hugo Lake ,OK - Kiamichi park ... been there?

I'm wondering about some different places to camp next year, and possibly a Ladies Only campout.

Anyone been to the Kiamichi Park at Hugo Lake? That's in far southeast Oklahoma near the border, north of Paris Tx.
It's on Recreation.gov but maybe it's a calendar thing, can't book any dates for next summer.

i called them because i was gonna stop over for LCG,

the park is closed till april when they start taking reservations.

Good ... well, I mean .. that explains why I tried every weekend next year and it all shows completely booked. Guess I'll have to call or wait till then.

FREAKY... My friend who happens to live right next door to me was a police officer in Hugo a couple years ago for a while, but came back down here because they didn't pay enough. He is actually moving back up there next week permanently to take care of his grandmother.

So if you go to an O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Hugo, ask for Mike Pemberton and tell him you are part of the teardrop group the Thomas is with and that will blow his mind!

Wow, small world... I have to go up there just for the heck of it now.
