LCG Ghosts.

Postby Darren » Wed Nov 10, 2010 11:57 am

Anyone else run into a ghost at LCG? I believe site 53 was visited by one on Friday night.

Here's what happened. My camping buddies had all gone to bed and I decided to use my GPS to map out the park. I walked up to the entrance of the camping area and did the mapping. Basically I started the software, got a signal, started recording and walking. I walked the entire loop for the mapping and then walked back to my trailer. So I'm sitting there in the tear minding my own business with my legs hanging out the curb side door and playing with my phone. Obviously my legs were right there in front of me in clear sight when my left leg was pushed to the right about 4 inches. Not only was it moved but I could feel warmth and what I thought felt like fur sliding across the outside of my knee.

I sat there for a moment to collect my thoughts. It must have been a dog and I just didn't see it. But if it was a dog I would have heard it moving through the leaves. If not a dog it must have been a muscle spasm or something like that. Sat there a few more moments, rolled back into the trailer and shut the door. I was honestly spooked.

A couple of different people told me that they had similar experiences but I'll let them tell it if they want.

So if something happened to you please share it. Guess that'll keep site 53 open for me if nothing else.

That might have just been CaseyDOG on his hands and knees trying to find his trailer.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

I do know that we were visited by a Cat several times at or site - even saw the cute liitle feline - she came up for a petting then left back into the woods. She came from the direction of the staff house at the end of the road perhaps looking for some attention.

I've been thinking a whole bunch about your ghost experience at LCG5, and thought that maybe if what felt like fur might have been feathers. Tom was supposed to go Snipe hunting, but he told me that he didn't go. BUT, if he had maybe he would have caught that one. I understand that Snipe is much better than turkey. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everybody !!!!!!

Now Darren wasn't the only one to have ghostly visits. I heard of several that mentioned it before he did and just afraid to say anything because of the teaseing. I didn't have a visit except from coons and one was there before dark, but that doesn't mean I don't believe. I know, everyone is jealous because you didn't have a visitor and it was halloween. I know I am.
