The motivating factor? I don't want to maintain a collection of home built campers and I am ready to start thinking about the next one. I found out that when I build a new one, that's the one I want to camp in. I do miss the teardrop, and I am sure I'll miss the little gypsy. I only hope I find another buyer like Sandy, who bought my teardrop. She keeps me updated on her camping adventures and the misadventures as well.

I doesn't seem excessive to me - consider that a new Casita will run you well in excess of $20,000 today. You all seem to forget the difference between building a one off in your backyard and producing a stream of production units with all the labor costs (try buying health insurance for your workers) and overhead. So Steve, how much for you building me a wagon figuring your material costs and paying yourself a $15 hourly wage. Huh?

That same question was asked of me recently as well. I am wondering what my answer will be once I have a second one... You never forget your first, so we'll see. If I get my way I will have a huge shop to store them in, but I just plan on two of them, a Teardrop for quick one nighters, and a Standy for 2 or more nights. We'll see, I think your logic makes sense though...

OK I got to see your camper at the CRA Gathering wow I have to say I was floored and that pictures don't do it justice

After seeing it I want one even more, the wife is leaning towards the bow top type

Hi Steve,

There were some really good pictures of the Lil Gypsy. We couldn't even leave to look at the other trailers with so many wanting to see it. At times there was a line outside the door. We loved showing it and getting all the comments. We got the award for Most Unique out of 142 trailers.
Of course most knew you built it and were just waiting to see it. Darren, our KAMO buddy made all the awards and they were just beautiful which made winning it even more exciting. Yes, we are really enjoying our new toy.
