My name is Jay and I live outside of Houston by the bay. Some friends and I have wanted to build TDs for years. Normally I work as a boat captain, but I was laid off back in May. I was forced to pick up my woodworking tools again to make ends meet. So I hope to put some of my experience into building a couple of Teardrops.
My first event was LCG-V where I met some really great folks. I learned to dodge flying water balloons and enjoyed some tasty margaritas.(thanks Tony) I tent camped but everyone welcomed me and my buddy Steve into the fold.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and can't wait to get started building in December.

Hey jd welcome to the crazy place!! I used to live in Baytown, small world!! I rmember the tunnel 
man what a trip it was!!! I built my TD in 05 & have a ball with it. The build is what its all about tho. I spent 9 months on it & have rebuilt it 2 other times. Good luck with your build !!!!!
