I'd like to announce a "Major" gathering being planned by the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia Chapters for the mid summer of 2011. .

This is an "open gathering" and we are inviting campers from all locations around the USA.

We are planning this event for July 14-17, 2011 .

UPDATE (11/12/2010)

Here is a "web Site Link" for the Gathering.
You can follow the registration forms for details regarding "Camping Fees".

Please post, or PM, or, email any of the directors with questions.

We want this to be a fun and relaxing gathering that you can all enjoy.

Please come join us in July at the "Crossroads of America 2011"

Kurt

Mark that web site link with a GIANT EZ BUTTON.

Ladies and Gentlemen plan about 20 minutes to view this link.

This is an outstanding effort and has a wealth of information.

I was truely blown away !

The video is a do not miss !

The sign up is so simple a caveman could do it.

I love the 300 radius map. It truely shows how much thought and effort was made to select a site that was fair to all by making travel as EZ as possible.

To all who had a hand in this effort my sincerest thank you. This little website is a true work of art. :applause:

Hello fellow Teardrop friends! My name is Greg, but my friends call me Coletrain. I started my tear a couple of weeks ago. I hope to have my teardrop ready to go for this gathering. Sounds awesome!
Thank you Bob Henry for the heads up on this forum![/b]

To show support and to get the word out I am trying to include the new logo with every post. For all our Hoosier Tearjerker supporters feel free to dip into my album and steal a copy of the logo and place it in your album to add to your posts and help get the word out.

Dan, the reservations will be made as a "Group" so you won't have to worry about getting in. You would just need to fill out the Registration form and send in your money.

You can call me with a choice for a site from those available. Pick one in both Loops since we could go to either one.

Loop "B" will be the first Loop that we will try for but if the attendance gets too big for we'll switch to Loop "A".

I'll show a list of registered campers so we can keep track.

Registrations have been sent in for (5) campers
Dave & Barb Clark
Kurt Schlesselman
Karl Nordstrom
Carter Frank
Tim-Toni Berglund

Check out the web site for more details about registration.

As the list of sites are chosen, I'll post them with the names. That way you can see where Karl is.

Please note!
The "group reservation" requires a (2) night minimum stay. These are the Indiana DNR rules.

When you are pick the nights you will attend, make sure you have a (2) night Minimum

This wasn't well explained on the registration. Sorry.

Just in case anyone out there like to ride, there is a "saddle barn" and rides available at McCormick's Creek State Park.

Here is a link to the saddle barn at the park.

More features of the park will be published later. :applause:

Tjx, please send some pics to my email address. I've asked for all directors to send in some but haven't seen any yet from some of the chapters.
Thanks,
