Ok, as a quilter who started her tear quilt before my husband started the frame, I can't help it. Trying to imagine what a quilt would look like with that fabric for you trailer. What do you think Doug? I am thinking I would want to highlight the linear quality of the lanterns, (and keep the cost of the fancy fabric down) so use it maybe as horizontal stripes with larger rows of other fabrics. Example, A nice green/red coleman looking plaid in a 12" or more row, bordered by red and green in maybe a 2" row on either side, then a row of two lanterns (however wide that is), then green and red again. Hard to visualize, Doug do you have the fancy electric quilt you can download your own fabric samples into? I only have the cheapo version. I will see what I can do, but something like this:
red row
lantern row
red row
green row
plaid row
green row
red row
lantern row
red row
green row
plaid row
green row
red row
etc etc.
What an exciting to addition to our possibilities with tear decorating!
