Dates for LCG VI (2011)?

Postby aggie79 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 5:28 pm

Has the date for LCG VI be firmed up yet?

As I recall, reservations can be made beginning around the first of December.

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Hmmm . . .
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

I want the site AWAY from the water balloons LOL

We seriously need to do it in the field where we took the group photo next time though if it is still dry out there... Maybe organize it a bit too since a few people didn't know about it going on. Might be able to avoid a little vehicular damage as well. That was pretty entertaining, maybe line it up with margarita time again too! Except this time we'll keep that elixir out of the line of fire!

I personally like being the underdog. I like being downhill. Having the sun in your eyes makes you a stronger man. I like being near the TonyRitas, and our side didn't damage any innocent motor vehicles. In fact, we cleaned three years worth of bugs off of a Toyota FJ Cruiser. And, Camp Wannnaquickie sounds like the super-bass setting on a boom box when you hit it dead on with a full balloon.

That's not to say we won't be better armed next year. I may put Dave through practice drills before LCG6 so he knows which direction to focus his attention. When you get hit three times, you gotta' start to wonder if you're doing something wrong.

Balloons are cheap. Laughs are priceless.

the sound of a balloon hitting a car or trailer is nothing, but the sound of grown men grunting when hit with a water balloon is priceless

This may be the newbie or Aggie in me, but my calender shows October 28-31 to be a Friday through Monday. Isn't LCG a Thursday through Sunday event?

MJ told me the dates and he's the boss. LCG can run from Wednesday to Tuesday, just depends when you decide to go.

But I agree that for me it's a Thursday thru Sunday event so I've reserved site 64 for the 27th-29th.
