It's starting to feel like Thanksgiving weather here in Texas - the weather today was a crisp 80* The leaves just started to fall and tomorrow the forecast is for 79*. :icedtea: Time to get out the longhandles again - it's coolin' down

I've got a flannel blanket and Christmas lights on my grapefruit tree to try to save the fruit and I picked all the tomatoes off the vines. It's supposed to be 21* here, by morning.

At least in SE Minnesota ther is not snow. We have beautiful green grass.....covered in frost. Frozen puddles. Weather forcast is for rain, sleet, ice covered roads sometime starting between 12noon and 3 pm Wednesday.

Weather forcasters encourging those who can travel Wednesday morning to do so.

Typical weather here. News reports of tornado is Racine, WI. THey are obviously on the other side of the weather pattern.

Hey, why is it that here in So Calif, I look across the street and see frost on the roof tops? I can even see a 12,000 ft mountain out of my kitchen window that is capped with snow.......... I thought this was the land of clear skies and sunshine. Oh well, it'll be close to 80 today, and that ain't bad. I fear that snow on my woody would make it melt away completely. I guess this is just a little hick-up in our camping season. I think I will head out to the desert next week end........barring any snow!

A beautiful 76 degrees today here in St Augustine, but a cool front is moving in and the temps will be in the 40's at night for a few days.... the tangerines are getting ripe, the cold will make them sweeter.

It's very unusual to see snow in November in Britian, but this was my drive to a client's house this morning:

Because it's very rare to have daytime temperatures below freezing here, we have no history of using winter tyres or even all-season tyres - everyone uses summer tyres all year. But we had a bad winter last year and like quite a few others I am using them for the first time ever. Even in our wet, slushy roads they are wonderful. But then you guys all knew that!
