I have some of the soup/stew ingredients already, so I only need volunteers for the rest, which includes...
1. 5 pounds of cheap beef. I saw chuck roasts on sale for $2.49 per pound at Kroger today, and that would work just fine. If you want to cut it into 1/2 inch chunks in the comfort of your kitchen, and pop it all in a zip lock bag, that would be fantastic.
2. 1 five-pound bag of red potatoes. Don't cut them up, or they'll oxidize.
3. Two bunches of celery. This is another ingredient that can be cut at home and brought in a zip-lock bag. Wash well and cut into 1/4-inch pieces.
4. Two 16 oz. containers of sliced mushrooms.
5. Some nice crusty bread would make a good accompaniment, if someone is so inclined to supply it.
I have onions, all the liquids and all the herbs and seasonings. I also have bowls leftover from LCG, and napkins. Bring your own spoons.

Cindy and David you two have fun, I still have yet came by to check out your tear since you first told me about it at Christmas two years ago. As you can figure yes this is Stuart. Until this year I hadn't camped in close to ten years and that was in a large camper. Camped twice this year, Minnesota and Oklahoma. Can't believe what I was missing out on. But now that I see another group that likes camping I may have to go a lot more now.
Welcome to Stu's Lodge
By the way I have a bit of wood that I'll never burn. I believe it to be oak so it'll have to be split with a splitter. It's been stacked up in the back for about 6 months. But I'm in Cleburne.
