What song(s) do you want played at your funeral?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

I was in the car by myself when we took Lisa to her final resting place. As we pulled out Brad paisleys She's Everything was playing. Gremlin made a CD with all of her songs and put it in the car.

That song had Lisa down to a T.

"I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!"

I attended my Aunt's funeral this week. A friend sang Danny Boy and she was carried out as another played the bagpipes. This was quite moving and beautifully honored her memory.

I will forever miss you Aunt Joy. You were a lovely, brave, and amazing lady.
You had the perfect name, because you brought great joy to our lives.

I couldn't find a good copy of it on the tube, but "All the Kings Horses" by Robert Plant. It is a beautiful song.

It has metaphorical significance because "Humpty Dumpty" could not be put back together again...

It has personal significance because "All the Kings Men" was the first song that I ever wrote and that my band ever played when we were kids in Jim Norris' living room. I remember it like yesterday, I just thought it would be nice that I was thinking of all my old friends.

How about: "Is That All There Is?" by Peggy Lee?

From '71 or '72 I believe.
