I ran a rubber hose from my bottle to the copper connection just under the front of the trailer. I'll look for a photo for you...

Meanwhile, those pics I want you to review for the possibility of long term camping, will have to wait till tomorrow. The glue is drying right now. I pulled a clamp off, and the joint broke open. That's cold temperatures for you!!!

Okay Russ,

My glue dried enough so I could take the clamps off. So the question is, can a person live in a trailer like this full time?

Notice the full time table, the storage under the bed. There's a heater like you just got (not in the pictures yet).

The porta pottie goes in that big space across from the table...

What else does it need to make it usable full time?

Anything is possible. I was in the army and didn't want to sleep in the same tent with other men and fashioned up my half tent into a hammock and the same two trees I swung a army green nylon string across from head to foot and placed my poncho on it as a roof. Then my weapon went to bed with me and shoes and back pack beneath my hammock. I was never wet while others were.

What can U say I am a loner.

As for the model I think it would work. Myself I don't get up unless I pee (shush you didn't read that) in a folgers canister or make dinner or the dreaded turn on/off the heater

I think my stove just saved me. I got up this morning at about 4:45 and at 06:00 I turned on the blue flame and then I went in to take a shower and when I returned I went through the usual looking at my laptop and then started to fall asleep. I just woke up and found my blue flame off but the knob was in the usual low setting position. However the flame was off. I looked up and saw that I forgot to open the vent.

Got to get that furnace up and running.

At first I thought the bottle was empty but then I turned the knob and re started the turn on procedure and as of now it still is on so it must have been that.

I got up without symptoms so it must have shut off well within a safe amount of time. Also thank God I felt the cold that I woke up. I know others don't want to try that and it scares me to actually trust mechanical safety devices but this worked. I will not recommend these in trailers.

I just went out to get a Dremil to cut the hole in the side of the trailer. Up loading my work now Be back soon.

Above The vents installed just behind the locking handle. No interference to air flow. Though close to the door it should not be a safety problem. I am going to install a down shield as well when it is done.

I burned out the Dremil drill motor but the new wheels are great.

Here it is set to measure up how much to cut off the vent so the furnace would sit flush against the wall.

Yay for getting the furnance installed! I'm glad you didn't fall asleep when the vent wasn't open. This should be much safer.
