Weather Underground only shows a 30 percent chance.

Hopefully Cindy will get out a few hours early, since it is NYE. :worship:

Julie, I am so sorry to hear about Kenny's father. You are so good to be there for him.

I may not go to my friends if the weather is bad too since I am not really a couch crasher type person, and my Woodie is a Woodie and my friend lives a freeway hour away. We will see. Hope you don't mind me checking in on this thread even though I'm out of pocket.

Dont mind at all. There is enough room for one more if you can make it. If you're gonna drive an hour on the freeway, why not mame it another and be in Mt. Pleasant.

As much as we would like to come, it's just not gonna happen for us this year. Hope everyone has a good time.

If the cat doesn't make it to the bash, I'll whip up a batch of queso. We gotta have queso at a NYE party.

And, mine has sausage in it.

He misspoke--he meant a flaming ball of turkey inferno large enough to call in visitors from other planets.

Just remember, Dave, much of the state is under a burn ban.

after tonight - that ain't much of a concern. We picked up some party supplies to bring in the new year right. You folks can arrive anytime after noon - you'll be parking the tear in the back yard in ht fenced in area. I have a large back yard. 100 ft of extension cord will reach from the back door to the edge of the rear fence - And i got another 50 or so feet of unfenced yard till the street out back. And if that Ain't enough - I got plenty of room on the sides as well 8)

So Dave, I guess you will be with me when I start the water balloon war in Tony's campsite at LCG -- again.

But, dude, next year, don't turn your back to the enemy.

Are you really going to make me come up with a nuclear deterrent?

Back to the original thread--I wish I could make it up to bring in the new year. You guys have a great time. I hope the weather gods are kind.
