Postby reo-ron » Sun Jan 22, 2006 10:39 pm

I have a complete and useable 40's Kampmaster style trailer manufactured by Gerold Mfg. Co. Hawthorne,Calif Model 101 and I have run out of storage room. :( Sooo I must part with this rare surviver. I,m asking $4500. It has the orig two burner stove , Ice box, sink etc. The green canvas is not perfect but nice. It also has the fringe canopy  and electric brakes.I have alot of pics. You can e-mail at [email protected] for pics or more info. The trailer is currently located in Tulsa,OK
Old cars, trucks, trailers and scooters - bought, sold, traded and enthusiastically talked about.

reo-ron,
Youmight have better luck if you post the pictures in your album here on the forum.... Not only would it help promote your sale, many of us here(we're talking hundreds) would enjoy seeing the pictures... unless of course you wouldn't mind e-mailing all of us, that would be ok too! :D

All you have to do is go to the top of the page and click "album" scroll down a little and click "personal album" then upload a few photos... Thanks

ron...welcome to the board...let me echo what Steve said...WE LUV DA PICS, so we would love to see what you have...pictures need to be resized to around 640x480 and saved as low resolution .jpegs so those on dial-up connections won't get as frustrated, complete uploading instructions are at the top of this page under "help with photos"...the pics would be truly appreciated and would certainly get you an interested buyer quicker

Kampmaster

Postby reo-ron » Mon Jan 23, 2006 10:52 pm

Now that you guys/gals have seen the pics I really do need to sale this thing. Any Ideas ? I don't want to do ebay I want a vintage or teardrop trailer fan to enjoy this bit o history. I'm building a modernistic cub to pull with my 41 Graham Hollywood. I'm thinking of useing early Cessna wheel pans for fenders to match the pontoon fenders on the front of the Graham. I case you don't know what a Hollywood looks like - Think 36 Cord!

Ron...thanks for putting up the pics...that is a good looking example of the classic Kampmaster design...anyone who wants a larger tear had better jump at this one...it looks ready to use as is or a good acidwash or polish on the Al and a tad bit of cleanup/fixup and you could go WOW some folks...good luck on the sale...I hope someone here snaps that jewel up

yeah, I've taken a look at it but after scouring this forum for so long , I've got ideas for my own...and need something small and light to pull with my Honda and as you all know I'm about as broke as can be right now.
BTW ... talked to a mortgage officer today so things may be getting better and I might have a little $$ for the BREDBOX !!!!!
So there's a light at the end of the tunnel or is that......

So did you find a buyer??

There are several vintage trailer clubs.
Other wise you might see if a museum might be interested.

There is Petersons in LA, CA

If I had the bucks I would go get it in a second. I am sure there are others out there.
It is my dream trailer. that and the "Tvan (which Mike will never understand)"
;)
