Hi Guys Like your site thought i might tag along for a while
As im putting together a TD to tow behind the trike should be finished in a few weeks (putting the Alupanel Skin on today)
it is my own design so slightly different and im not quite sure it will qualify as a true tear drop as when opened up i can stand up inside..

Bluetrikes,

Welcome to the forum. Your trailer looks like a wing section from an airplane  Nicely done

Hi guys

Postby bluetrikes » Sat Jan 01, 2011 1:06 am

Thanks for your input will put up some more pics .
started this project in October and it has gone pretty well but have had to use my shed and my Brother in-laws shed as well as his has more head room.
unfortunatly he is 40ks away from us

i have made the trailer Hard walled and as small as i dared possible to suit our purpose.(towing with the trike) a little over 6' in the body length over all and 1220mm wide so its going to be real cosy.. with two of us in it

overall length 2700mm over all hight 1300mm body hight 900mm opened up it has around 2000mm head room.(we can get into our bike gear out of the rain if needed)
bed is 300mm above the floor and can be turn into seating..with lots of storage underneath .
hope to add an awning at some stage. not sure how we will set up the cooking area as yet..
