Wow Davel, I didn't realize you went that far back.

As I understand it, that other forum is now a private group of individuals, talking about what they did around the campfire.

BTW, I been personally replying to every donation that we've received. I've not been changing the subject line, so typically it reads, "RE: Notification of Payment Received".

If anyone didn't receive their reply, let me know, I'll get it out of my sent mail folder and resend it.

Just got back from a gambling trip so give me a day or 2. Though I was a looser, I resisted the ugre to break my last $100 bill which didn't make me a bigger looser. One good thing is that our pay checks come in a day or so AFTER we got home instead of before we left.

This is the first I've heard of the donations or I would have done it sooner. I schleped my laptop all the way to Nevada to find that there was no wireless internet to be had.

Mike I just wanted to take a moment to say a personal and heart felt THANK YOU. If not for this board its members and the mountain of knowledge that is shared, I would have probably not made this project. I was determined to build in order to broaden my skills and my interest. This place is where I wind down after work and relax, reading and learning.
So needless to say I have now done a small part to ensure this site stays around.

Yes, i'm hosting off this machine i'm typing on..it's windows, but I have a Linux box right next to me i can switch over real quick..and comcast gets faster all the time
