On the new (old) stove I purchased. I tore down the gas tank and cleaned all the parts. After I put it back together I hear a "hissing" sound coming from the end of the generator. It didn't do it before! At first I was thinking I needed a new generator, but it didn't do it before I cleaned it. Maybe there some loose "carbon" or something in there and I need to reclean it?

Thoughts anyone?

What model # of stove? Is it possible the valve has something stuck in it?

Its the 413G.

I just found a plumbing washer in the gas tank cap! :lol:

No, the washer was in the cap. It didn't keep it from pressurizing or anything. I'm going to reclean the generator.

You may have some crud that is hanging in the valve and not letting you shut it down completely. Doug

I tore it back down and cleaned it thoroughly. It works like a charm now. I thought I'd have to replace the packing in the valve but didn't need to.
