thanks coop, mad jackbut & kurt,
and thanks to you also ira,
i did go to walmart last night and looked at the 2 burner,
they also had 1 burners,
because of that trip, i decided that recess was "not" the way to go,
i also looked at a large surface griddle, and a deep fryer,
and a slow cooker, and a electric skillet,
bottom line is this,
if i recess, i'm designating that area to be used for nothing but cooktop,
if i dont, i can move cooktop from inside to outside also,
all i have to do is add another (2) 110 recepticals,
1 on each side of the rear of trailer under the folding tables,
they will only be exposed when the tables are in the raised position,
that way i'm not limited to the appliance i'm using,
i can use griddle, electric skillet or stove,
and i will have a choice of 4 different work surfaces to set them on,
2 inside & 2 outside,
so thanks guys for the suggestions,

george / waywardson
