It's heavy but it's not from the diamond plate. That's a whole lot lighter than you would think. A 4x10 sheet of the diamond plate can easily be lifted by one person becuase it's really just thin aluminum. What makes it heavy is the one inch ribs we used to give it the shape. We took two half inch ribs and glued them together to make one rib and there are six of them. The rest of it is just lauan.

I got it registered and weighed and it came in at just uder 1400#. We were able to take it to my sister in law's for Christmas and slept in it there. It was really cold outside but we were fine. When we woke up in the morning, the condensation had frozen on the windows. We later found out that it was about 20 degress that night.

Nice that you got to sleep in it already. Have you tried the Air? I doubt if I could sleep with it at my head but your Td will allow you to sleep at the other end if you don't have the cabinets in yet. YOu might turn it on for a try out... :thinking:

Thanks so much! We have slept in it with the A/C on. It is a little noisy but after all..I could sleep through a tornado. Katy didn't have any problems either. We just got used to it.

Mike and I made some cabinets for the interior. If it goes according to plan, we will put them in this weekend. Pictures coming soon.

Here are the pictures of the cabinets. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. The cut outs at the top, in the middle are for a radio, 12v outlet and a 110v outlet.
