First - it's NOT a Coleman. It's actually a Prentiss Waber #4 auto cook stove marketed by Montgomery wards
The seller used a good marketing ploy of using Coleman in the title to get more people to view

Here is a similar stove in my collection

Yeah, could see right off it is not a coleman. I had not seen "Lake Side" before, did not know it was one of Monkey Wards.

Nice looking stove you have there

That "good marketing ploy" is also a violation of eBay's keyword spamming policy, as seen here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/search-manipulation.html

It's also the Handy Chef if it was a Sears stove. They need to pre-heated to fire up. It's entirely possible that the seller is clueless on this stuff and it just looks like a Coleman stove, so that must be what it is. Based on the number of pics on it, the description and starting price...they don't really know what they have. Another one of those guys that has an old something so it must be worth a ton of money.... Doug

Although not a Coleman, it is still a "pressure stove" and collectable.

Not in a million years though for $135.00. Maybe at a garage sale/flea market for $20.00 so I could take it all apart and play with it.

Collectors are going to know the difference. And, it runs on "Coleman" Fuel, so maybe the seller thinks of these stoves as "Coleman" the way people think of Kleenex and Band-Aid. Deceptive or clueless? The price suggests clueless.

I would give him $20.00 for it just to get the tank and pump. My model 4 tank had a long crack . I repaired it but it is too dangerous to use. One bump in the right place may cause it to open again then boom. Oh well it looks good.
