Kick A$# Oyster Recipe

Looking for one.
Not much luck so far. Found recipes for oysters not specific to DO.
Looking for : easy, quick, delicious and fewest ingredients possible. Not so much a soup but more of a casserole or something like that. I don't know. Up for suggestions though.
Asking for too much? Not with this crowd I'm sure. Oh, did I mention bacon. Must have bacon.
With the abundance of Humboldt Bay Oysters right in my backyard, I wanted to find a oyster recipe that would be popular and could possibly end up as a 'standard' for me.

I was always told that when steaming oysters to use one spice and one liquid or else the flavours get to over powered and you don't taste the oyster but baking them is completely different

here is one you can do in a dutchoven.scalopped oysters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=097N7lHRgaw you could add chopped bacon to this for that ( oh my god) effect. Fact is. If I made this I would add a few more things to it. Maybe some veggies and or cheese. You could use bread instead of crackers. This is a vary adaptable dish. P.S. I LOVE OYSTERS

I love oysters but I don't eat them raw (too slimy)Thanks for that post Reddiver I have not lauphed that hard in a wile. I have been down that road a few times and it aint fun.

I've grown to like the raw ones. More so cooked. They're so darn fresh right here on Humboldt Bay.
Some great ideas for the oysters.
