Full time living

Postby goramsey » Sun Feb 06, 2011 10:09 am

Well, I guess I have to retract my statement of earlier. After 7 months of living in my teardrop, and after being in every storm that hit the southwest. It was to much. Trying to cook in the rain and wind, trying to hold down the canopy in 60 mph gusts at 4:30 AM in my pajamas, while pouring rain, what can I say. Other than that I loved it. I have gone up a tiny bit. I am now living in the coolest tiny trailer. I found a 1959 Aloha in pretty good shape.

Hi, Gary:

I agree with your assessment of outdoor cooking. It's mainly for good weather camping. Your new trailer is in amazingly good condition for its age. You should really enjoy it. Nice purchase!

Don't forget to update your blog in your Welcome section to show that you've upgraded from teardrop to standy.

 Good looking trailer, but the jeep is too modern. Should be a Willys wagon!

I had the same kind of experience with our teardrop only it was the wind blowing the peperoni off my pizza bagel as I stuck it on the grill.

Nice trailer! Looking forward to more pictures.

Is that something you know for sure because if it's not a problem that could be caused by a teardrop. I've wasted a lot of money on air shocks for both my truck and wagon to keep the rear bumpers off the ground. In other words, you need to do a little more research before you start typing.
Oh, and how about using Spell Check a little more often. It's sometimes hard to read your postings.

It is true, you really need to decide what your use for its gonna be. Then build... and rediscover that things have changed lol.

Ive got a PT Cruiser so Im limited to the 1000lbs. I just reached my 40's so the smaller size doesnt bother me. Oh if I had a job payin the big bucks I might want Steve's Gypsy cart would be fun camping in it at Pennsic for 2 weeks in august... but I cant afford the tow vehicle right now. So Im thinkin about what I can do and use now.

Gary,

The 1959 Aloha looks fantastic! May the travel on the road less traveled continue for as long as it is fun.
