Teardropless in Seattle

Postby Solstice » Tue Feb 08, 2011 11:53 pm

Been lurking for a while wondering if the craving for a tear would pass.... Now the CFO is on board so I guess it's time to make some decisions.

Just registered for the Dam gathering in April. Hope y'all have room for a couple of wannabe's in a tent. Hoping to get some concrete ideas from those who have been there and done that.

Solstice

Welcome to the other side of lurking. You'll enjoy the Dam gathering, I've always wanted to go, but haven't yet. I was able to make some of the other gatherings. The people are better in person.

There are some great builders up where you are, and then there is always craigslist

Take a look at the Northwest section for some of the local gatherings in your area, (I'm sure you just wanted a road trip with the top down)

Hope to see you someday, ITS time for you to start asking questions

Welome aboard, Solstice. (you gotta have a better name than that, if we are gonna be friends) Good for you, planning on making the Shasta Gathering. I am sure that a tent would be acceptable, especially since you are planning on becoming a future teardropper. I'll be there, welcoming you to the group, and you can probably find me, because I am one of the oldest TDers attending the event. Bring a dutch oven, so we can share some Prime-rib dinners. Oh, I love Prime-rib. See you there, with bells on.
8) ;) Roly, just an ol' woody teardropper, anxious to meet new friends.
