I missed the boat on the original post here, but while we're on the subject of 502s and stoves in general...
I recently acquired a super-clean, used-twice '71 502... works beautifully and matches in style my wife's '68 228F that we got running today.
My stove collection now consists of, in order of acquisition, a mid-90's 424, two 426Ds (two!), a 425, a 400, a 502 and a primo 500. All I'd like to add is a pre-war suitcase w/ cast iron burners, the type that Doug likes to restore.
