Building Question - Walls

Postby Classic Finn » Tue Feb 15, 2011 2:58 pm

Evening from Finland folks.

Ive been thinking of using 3/4 inch walls on the Kit. Does this make any sense or should I stay with the 1/2 inch walls? Is this overkill?

If so can I obtain T moulding for the doors in 3/4 inch ?

Thanks ;)

I think some TDers make solid plywood walls and some sandwich construction. I'm a fan of the sandwich wall as it's lighter and, if constructed correctly, just as rigid. And, I put 3/4' foam insulation between the 1/4" skin and 3/16" paneling in my side walls. The ends and top have 1 1/2" spars and get two layers of the foam as the roof and upper end panels get more sun and heat penetration.

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.
