Were you born in 8/53?

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

...kinda like me, functional, but not as pretty as it could be.

Hahaha... well said! Er... I mean... well, you know... what can you do.

That definately was a good-running lantern. I liked it fine and woulda kept it if it weren't yer birthday lamp.

 :P

I just got another big hat beater dropped on my front porch today... a 1/61 228E w/ a pretty nice vent, considering the whole lantern was less than 20 bucks... went through it this afternoon and now it burns brighter than most of my other dual mantle lanterns!

Happy Birthday, Doug... next October, that is. :R

Here's a cool bit-O-news: three weeks ago I found my bday lantern... a 6/55... a 200A. (still looking for a 6/55 228)...

And here's the kicker: I just found and won at auction an 11/68 200A for Tanya! (her bday - here's yer sign!) She doesn't know it yet...

Wow Doug, you do a real nice job. I don't have that model but I have a beat up 220 with a good globe, so I will be good to go. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
