At ITG3, there were many TD's there with no AC. It can be pretty hot and humid during the day that time of year, so open your doors or windows on the TD to let it air out and hang around outside and talk to folks until the sun goes down and it cools off. (Or talk until WAY after the sun goes down!)
We ran our AC to cool the TD off when we first went to bed, but shut it off and just used the Fantastic Fan the rest of the night on most nights. Some nights we never turned the AC on at all.
There were a couple of hotel rooms available for ITG3 participants to go shower in real quick, that felt great after a warm day !!
Here is a pic from the Minden campground, lot's of EZ-up's and some pretty good shade trees helped with the heat.
